An autopsy Tuesday on a 21-year-old Woodridge man whose body was found floating in a retention pond Monday morning was inconclusive, and officials from the DuPage County coroner’s office will now conduct further tests that could take up to eight weeks, a spokeswoman said.

Glenn Davis of the 7200 block of Woodward Avenue was dead when police found him floating face up in an unnamed muddy pond along the 8600 block of Woodward Avenue around noon Monday, officials said.

Investigators do not suspect foul play but they do believe Davis was the driver of a Saturn automobile that police towed from the scene of a one-car accident on the 8500 block of Woodward Avenue at 12:33 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle was left parked and locked on a median where it had struck a highway sign.

Toxicology reports will not be available for up to two months, but Davis’ girlfriend told investigators he was drinking before the accident, according to the coroner’s office spokeswoman.
