Police question 2 in death of infant
Aurora police said Wednesday that they are questioning two people in the death of an 8-month-old boy, but no criminal charges are expected until after an autopsy on Thursday.
Alex Quevedo of the 800 block of Iowa Avenue died Wednesday in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Police said preliminary results indicate possible abuse.
Police and paramedics responded to the child’s home Monday evening and found the boy unconscious and not breathing. He was taken to Provena Medical Center Hospital in Aurora and was later transferred to Lutheran General.
