McMichael set to tell tales

Steve McMichael is one of bevy of ex-Bears who have taken up media work. Now the former defensive tackle is branching out, adding print to his electronic career. “I’m writing a book,” he said. “It’s going to be called, `Tales of the Chicago Bears.’ It will be about my time here in Chicago, including down on Rush Street. Then I’ll do another book about wrestling and my radio show; that will be another tale.” McMichael, who also works for WMVP-AM 1000, thinks his old team needs to get stronger, especially Pro Bowl middle linebacker Brian Urlacher. “He’s not strong enough to take on a blocker, being that tall (6-4),” McMichael said. “He better get his [butt] in the weight room and get strong.”
