North Lawndale (26-3) jumped out to 9-0 lead and rolled past Bronzeville 66-40 behind Jimmy Williams’ 21 points and Jason Pankey’s 11. . . . Frank Marin (13 points) hit 5 of 6 FTs in 4th quarter as Quigley (14-16) edged Jones 52-50.
At St. Francis de Sales
Lonnell Lauderdale scored 8 of his 15 points in 18-2 run that lifted Hope (18-11) to 51-42 victory over host Pioneers. . . . Shelton Thrasher scored 18 as DuSable (7-18) held off Phillips 57-51. Osiris Eldridge had 24 points for Phillips (11-11).
At Driscoll
Jon Scott scored 14 and led rally from 7-point deficit as Driscoll (22-6) edged Montini 32-29. Scott’s 3-point play with 2:08 left broke 25-25 tie and capped 12-2 run.
