78 acres annexed; property rezoned

The Village Board Tuesday unanimously approved annexing 78 acres at 115th Street and Weber Road.

Developers ML Realty Partners LLC want to build a 250,000-square-foot industrial building and develop about 5 acres for retail use. The property was rezoned from future estate residential to limited industrial. The board also approved a special-use permit for a planned industrial development.

Mayor Roger Claar said land regrading is expected to begin immediately.
