Jesse Linczmaier and Alex Rahe won final two matches of meet, giving Grant (20-3) 33-26 win over Libertyville (18-5). Linczmaier defeated Simon Bortz 8-0 at 171 to break 26-26 tie, and Rahe edged Bret Horvath 11-8 at 189 to seal win.

Matt McAleer came up with pin just before buzzer to secure 9-8 win over Chris Sanchez at 145 and help Notre Dame (23-2) to 30-28 win over Fenton (19-3). Joe Graves pinned Wes Muniz in 3:04 at 135 for Dons.

Gerry Starzyk (140), John Murphy (171) and Freddie DeRamus earned pins for St. Rita, leading Mustangs to 48-18 win over Mt. Carmel. Caravan (13-6) won 4 of 1st 6 matches before St. Rita (22-1) stormed back.

Mike Geanto scored 3 in final :30 to beat Mike Boyd 5-2 at 189 and lift Glenbard North over Proviso East 30-28. Proviso East led 28-21 with 2 weight classes left before Glenbard North’s Matt Smith pinned Phillip Howlett in 2:24 at 171.

Trailing 29-20 with just 2 matches remaining, Sandwich (23-0) got wins from Josh Hartman (215 pounds) and Bobby White (275) to edge Wilmington 30-29. Hartman earned 6 pts when Chris Alberico was disqualified for stalling, and White’s 14-0 win over Chris Molle was good for 4 pts. . . .
