No 2nd thoughts on his choice

People keep telling Hoffman Estates’ Jonny Reibel that he should’ve waited longer on his college choice. Emerging this season as one of the state’s top point guards, the 6-foot-2-inch senior is averaging 14.5 points, 6 assists and 2.2 steals and is shooting 47 percent from three-point range. Reibel signed with Division II national power Rollins College of Winter Park, Fla., back in November. “I’m happy with my choice,” he said. “On my visit [Oct. 24-25], the players there made me feel like I was already part of the team. It was sunny and 75 degrees outside, and I was walking around in my shorts and a T-shirt. It doesn’t really bother me that people think I should be playing at a Division I school.”
