Nate Minnoy (22 pts, 9 rebs) keyed 12-0 run in the 3rd for Hales (19-6, 10-3) with 4 pts and 2 assists. Jerod Haynes added 19 pts for Hales. St. Laurence (11-13, 5-7) was paced by Mike Smith’s 22 pts, 7 rebs.

Jeremy Fears had 18 pts. and Joliet’s bench outscored Bolingbrook’s 30-3 for the win. 3 reserves scored at least 8 for Joliet (18-5), which led 12-0. Jerome Strickland scored a game-high 22 for Raiders (16-7).

Trevians (11-12) rolled after 11-2 run in 2nd quarter. New Trier’s Chase Shamlin had 14 pts, and Casey Pond paced Warren (13-10) with 16.

Public playoffs 2nd round

Jeremy Pargo (21 pts) scored 4 during a 9-2 4th-quarter spurt that gave Robeson (21-8) its first lead. Addison Williams chipped in 16 pts for Raiders, while Courtney Horton led Washington (16-10) with 21.

Lisle struggled at FT line (6 of 16), but Lisa Gartelos (17 pts) and Carolyn Sarb (11) picked up the slack in the Lions’ 43-39 semifinal win over St. Benedict. Lisle (22-6) pulled ahead for good on Gartelos’ putback shot with 3:01 left for a 40-39 lead. Martha Mauricio paced Bengals (14-18) with 14 pts while Jill Hohenadel added 12. . . . Elizabeth Hansen scored 16 as Latin defeated Timothy Christian 50-49. The Romans (26-3) avoided OT when Trojans’ Jana Lucas hit only 2 of 3 FTs with :04 to play. Lucas paced the Trojans (24-5) with 22 pts.

No. 1 Naperville Central (26-2) routed Plainfield South 88-33 behind Candace Parker’s 20 pts.

At Willowbrook

Mauvolyene Adams had 25 pts, 11 rebs as No. 5 Bolingbrook (26-1) beat York 68-36.

At Carmel

Jenny Eckhart scored a game-high 20 pts as No. 8 Carmel (26-3) downed Vernon Hills 43-20.

At Hillcrest

Erin Cattell’s 19 pts led No. 9 Sandburg (25-5) past Bloom 61-29. Nate Hughes scored 14 for Trojans. . . . Meshia Reed (28 pts) and Shaneya Acker (18) helped Hillcrest (21-7) outlast Rich Central 69-67.

At Zion-Benton

Senior Lacey Simpson’s 25 pts, 16 rebounds, 7 steals powered Zion-Benton (13-17) past Warren 56-55. Simpson sank the 2nd of 2 FTs with :03.5 to go to give the Zee-Bees the win. Alexandra Leach paced the Blue Devils (19-10) with 17 pts. . . . Beth Rosendahl’s 20 pts and Sarah Miller’s 15 led Mundelein (18-9) past North Chicago 58-47.

At Maine South

Kristi Cirone led all scorers with 24 pts as Resurrection (21-8) overpowered Maine West 49-33. . . . Buffalo Grove (22-9) had 4 players in double digits, including Rachel Buchek (19 pts) and Ashley Sandstead (17), as the Bison beat Maine South 61-46. Brittney Zwolser’s 18 paced Hawks (15-17).
