Real women playing real football.
That’s what the Chicago Force is all about, and that’s why the team is challenging the Chicago Passion to a game–a real game.
The Passion is one of four teams in the recently formed Lingerie Football League, which features scantily clad model-types playing “football,” though “footsie” might describe it more accurately.
You may have seen lingerie football on pay-per-view during halftime at the Super Bowl. If you did, you missed perhaps the biggest moment in the history of nipple jewelry.
The Force is part of the Independent Women’s Football League, a 21-team circuit that plays full-tackle football, just like the big boys.
In a statement released Thursday, the Force called out the Passion with a “formal challenge to play against the Chicago Force. Anywhere. Anytime.” The statement also called the semi-clothed league “an affront to women’s sports” and asked fans to boycott the LFL and its sponsors.
