THEATER
`BAILEGANGAIRE’
Bailegangaire has a secret that lies in an obsessively detailed tale told by old Mommo. One granddaughter yearns for the whole story. The other hears it all as senile blarney. The 1985 Tom Murphy play operates on a strategy of delayed gratification. Yet it pays off, as does Irish Repertory’s good, lean staging, featuring a fine performance from Elizabeth Rich, a game if rhythmically stolid one from Mary Ann Thebus and nice support from Michelle Courvais; through Feb. 15 at Victory Gardens Theater, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave.; $32-$36; 773-871-3000.
