Katie Bruzdzinski has done it again. After leading Naperville North to the volleyball state quarterfinals, the senior was recently named Gatorade Illinois Volleyball Player of the Year. The Tribune All-Stater registered 375 kills, 37 blocks and 94 service aces this season but gives credit to the team for her success. “Everyone brought something to the program,” she said. “Everyone made an impact.” Bruzdzinski will take her game to the University of Michigan next fall, trying to impact yet another team. “It’s a program I feel that I can make a big difference in.”
