The Special Goodness
Land Air Sea
Special Goodness is the name Weezer drummer Pat Wilson, here singing and playing guitar, chose for his side project, which he shares with Atom Willard (now of the Offspring). While “Land Air Sea”–originally released last year–won’t shock Weezer fans, the disc does offer its own distinct pleasures. Primary among them is that Wilson is less aloof than Cuomo, lending the disc a breezy quality sure to click once the weather turns warm.
