Tickets go on sale Monday for “Rembrandt’s Journey: Painter, Draftsman, Etcher,” the first exhibition in the United States to present the artist’s work as a printmaker in the context of his paintings and drawings. Already seen at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the show will be at the Art Institute of Chicago from Feb. 14 through May 9.
The international loan exhibition will include more than 200 works representing all phases of Rembrandt van Rijn’s career.
Dated, timed tickets for the show are required; advance tickets are recommended. They are available by calling 312-930-4040, on the Web at www.artic.edu, at the Art Institute, 111 S. Michigan Ave. or through Ticketmaster Illinois Ticket Centers.
Prices are $12 Monday through Thursday, $15 Friday through Sunday. Convenience and handling fees, $4.25 per ticket plus $2.60 per order, are charged for phone and Internet purchases. The ticket prices include admission to the museum.
