Dave Wills (7 points) had 5 points, including a 3-pointer and 2 FTs in OT as the Crusaders outscored the Rams 13-9. Chris Lee poured in 31 points for Gordon (3-6), including the game-tying 3-pointer at the regulation buzzer. . . . No. 12 Downers Grove South defeated York 57-47 as Trey Bowens scored 12 and Brad Riegler had 11. . . . J.J. Comiskey scored 20 and made 4 3-pointers as Conant defeated Wheaton Warrenville South 59-53. James Sonnenberg had a game-high 21 points for Wheaton South (3-7). . . . Max Kaplan scored 13 and made 2 insurance FTs with 5.2 seconds left as St. Ignatius (9-2) edged Holy Cross 51-48. David Fahey (12 points on 4 threes) missed a three that would have tied it for Holy Cross.

DeKalb

Matt Rogers had 21 points and 10 rebounds as Rochelle (9-4) defeated DeKalb 53-51 in the title game. Dane Male led DeKalb (9-4) with 13 points. DeKalb had 2 shots to tie the game in the final :10, but Todd Perez and Mike Haigh each missed jumpers. . . . Larkin (5-7) knocked off Huntley 69-49 for 3rd place as Dayvone Ellis scored 20.

East Aurora

Tournament MVP Terry Jeffries scored 13 as East Aurora (10-3) defeated Glenbard East 52-44 for the title. Derek Walker had 17 points and 8 rebounds for Glenbard East.

Glenbard West

The dried blood on Ryan Klein’s jersey told most of the story of Timothy Christian’s hard-fought 65-61 victory over Driscoll for the championship of the Glenbard West Holiday Tournament. “It was rough out there,” said Klein, who scored 14 points and pulled down 9 rebounds to lead the Trojans, who have won 4 of their last 5. “And that Turner kid was amazing.” Driscoll’s Greg Turner, that is, who poured in 38 points to go with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The Highlanders (9-5) never led in the game and trailed 52-41 with 6:45 remaining. That’s when Driscoll went on a 13-2 run–with 7 points from Turner–and tied the game 54-54 with 2:40 left on Kyle Jenkins’ layup. But the Trojans (10-5) hit 9-of-10 free throws in the final 1:44 to escape with the victory. . . . Greg Callahan and Chris Jones scored 12 points and West Chicago held Nazareth to just 11 1st-half points in pasting the Roadrunners 62-44 in the 3rd-place game. West Chicago (8-3) led 26-11 at the half and held the Roadrunners (3-8) without a field goal for a 9:40 stretch. . . . Conor Shields scored 15 points to lead 4 players in double figures as the host Hilltoppers beat Antioch 59-48 in the 5th-place game.

Wheeling

Andy Mack scored 19 as Lake Park (10-3) downed Naperville Central 68-55 for the title. Anthony Pavone contributed 16 points — including 7-of-8 from the FT line–and 12 rebounds and Ryan Cibulka added 16 points for the Lancers. Kyle Julius’ 16 points led Naperville Central (11-3). . . . Joshua Allen had 16 points and Donte Agee added 15 as North Chicago (8-5) took 3rd place with a 51-44 win over St. Viator. Steve Zaleski had 15 points for St. Viator (9-4).

In Class AA action, Marquis Young had 12 points and Andre Tyler added 11 as Austin (8-1) edged Bradley-Bourbonnais 51-47. . . . Kyle Hendricks had 21 points as Urbana (6-4) beat Bremen 60-54. . . . In Class A , Michael Cuddy scored 21 and Grant Kluge put in 14 as Reed-Custer (10-0) defeated Illiana Christian 53-40. Jason Aardsma’s 11 points led Illiana (9-3). . . . Felix Thurman tallied 19 points and 7 rebounds as St. Anne (9-1) downed Providence-St. Mel 59-49. David Evers had 34 points and 6 rebounds to lead St. Mel (4-6). Evers scored 26 of St. Mel’s first 28 points.

In Class AA, Bill Shemerdiak scored 17 and Bob Schneider added 9 as Sandburg (5-6) edged Reavis 55-52. Shemerdiak hit a jumper with 1:49 left to give the Eagles the lead for good at 45-44. Mahmood Ghouleh tallied 29 points and 12 rebounds to lead Reavis (9-1). . . . Alex Shimko scored 17 as Plainfield Central (8-1) defeated Neuqua Valley 68-54.
