Pace Dial-a-Ride subscribers can now book trips a week in advance.

A new city contract with Pace gives riders more flexibility in booking a trip. In the past, Dial-a-Ride users had to book a trip 24 hours in advance.

The service is available to Naperville residents with disabilities and people 65 or older. Eligible Naperville residents in DuPage County must register with their township and residents in Will County must sign up with the Park District.

Pace makes between 1,200 and 1,500 trips a month in Naperville, said Carmen Carruthers, the city’s transportation program coordinator.
