Simulated wind, real relaxation

Chimes doing a sultry dance, tinkling to the rush of a hot breath of summer–ah, the sights and sounds of the season. Wind chimes doing their thing out back, and all that.

Now, yardless, balcony-less folks can enjoy the music too. These indoor, tabletop chimes (below) are powered by a gentle fan (and 4 AA batteries or the included AC adaptor) that simulates a natural, random wind. You select the gusto–from a gentle breeze to a more forceful gust–via the adjustable control. The Envirascape Soothing Indoor Wind Chimes from HoMedics (product number WC-100) stand about 14 inches tall and cost $25. For store locations, visit www.homedics.com or call 800-466-3342.
