Keith Radloff hit his head so hard at the bottom of a flight of stairs at Union Station that his skull was fractured on one side from the back around to his nose, a doctor told jurors hearing evidence Wednesday against the man accused of killing him.

Dr. Ronald Knoblock also testified that a bruise was found on Radloff’s chest, an injury that he said was consistent with someone shoving him with open hands. Prosecutors allege Matthew Givens, a bicycle messenger, pushed Radloff after an argument.
