The latest economic survey of small-business owners shows that they have little concern about a possible re-emergence of inflation.

According to William Dunkelberg, an economist for the National Federation of Independent Business, owners reported large differences in pricing. In finance, insurance and real estate, 52 percent reported higher average selling prices, while 8 percent reported lower prices. Twenty percent reported professional services were priced higher. In manufacturing, 8 percent reported higher prices, while 23 percent reported lower ones.
