Beware Internet auctions, site says

In an eBay age, cruising the Internet and typing in a credit card number is getting as easy as putting quarters in a soda machine. But it’s not nearly as safe, a point driven home on a Web site called youdontknowauctions.com.

Launched in February by students at Chicago-Kent College of Law, the site educates people about their rights in online auctions and the dangers of which they should be aware. Last week, the Federal Trade Commission asked Chicago-Kent Dean Harold J. Krent to allow it to post a link to the site.
