A 32-year-old Lansing man is accused of stealing another person’s identity and using it to buy a $48,000 Jaguar convertible and other goods in what Will County officials said Wednesday was a surprisingly sophisticated operation that made fake driver’s licenses.
Keith L. St. Julien of the 1500 block of 181st Place, Lansing, was charged with financial identity theft for buying the Jaguar and thousands of dollars worth of furniture in another person’s name. He faces similar charges in Cook County.
