Special agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) isn’t the only one having a rough time on Fox’s overwrought Tuesday night series “24” (8 p.m. Tuesday, WFLD-Ch. 32), which stretches one day into a full season. Jack’s hapless daughter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), isn’t faring much better.
8-9 a.m.: Creepy Gary, whose child (Megan) Kim is nannying, goes nuts, roughs them both up.
9-10 a.m.: Kim and Megan flee. Kim loses Megan.
10-11 a.m.: Kim finds Megan, takes her to Counter Terrorist Unit H.Q., which is bombed.
11 a.m.-noon: Kim survives blast. But Megan has a seizure. At hospital, doctor finds Megan has been abused, accuses Kim.
Noon -1 p.m.: Dad Jack calls Kim with bad news: Terrorists are about to nuke L.A. Meanwhile, Gary finds Kim at the hospital, threatens her.
1-2 p.m.: Boyfriend Miguel helps Kim and Megan flee from Gary at the hospital in Gary’s car.
2-3 p.m.: Kim & Co. drive to San Jose. Cop pulls Miguel over for speeding and finds surprise in trunk: Megan’s dead mom.
3-4 p.m.: Kim and Miguel arrested for murdering Megan’s mom. Kim pleads with cop: “But L.A.’s about to get nuked!”
4-5 p.m.: At police station, Kim, having a little downtime, gets good news: Megan will be safe.
5-6 p.m.: Cop drives Kim and Miguel back to L.A. They start a fire in the back seat. Squad car crashes. Kim escapes.
6-7 p.m.: Running through woods, Kim gets her ankle caught in an animal snare. A hungry cougar watches.
7-8 p.m.: Lonely survivalist McRae rescues Kim, takes her to his cabin.
8-9 p.m.: McRae, hoping to keep Kim, tells her that L.A. has been nuked. He locks her in his cluttered bomb shelter.
9-10 p.m.: Kim finds a TV, sees that L.A. has not been vaporized, convinces McRae to let her go.

10-11 p.m.: While hitching back to L.A. Kim almost get kidnapped. She stops to call her dad, who has more bad news: He will save L.A. by crashing the plane carrying the nuke. Kim gives a tearful goodbye. Bomb explodes.
11 p.m.-midnight: Kim goes to a convenience store to make another call, and is held hostage by some guy freaked by the nuclear blast.
Midnight -1 a.m.: Police distract freaked captor. Kim escapes.
1-2 a.m.: After giving herself up to police, Kim gets some good news: She has been cleared of all charges, and her dad is alive; and some bad news: Miguel, who lost his leg in the car crash, is breaking up with her.
