Chicago Community Cinema presents a panel on film financing, followed by screening of shorts, including “Chicago at Sundance 2003,” a view of Chicago films presented at the festival; “Toonanooda,” an animated comedy about “lifeguarding and lunchmaking” by David Zackin; and “Life is So Easy,” a Jeremy Braverman-directed comedy that examines the relationship between an impoverished, unpublished writer and his father. The program also features the world premiere of “Good Stuff,” a music video by Rocco Cataldo featuring hip-hop acts Giant and Mello (Mello and Dre from Giant will be present). Also scheduled is “That Old One!,” a British film by James Henry about the morning after a one-night stand and featuring Kevin McKidd and Susan Vidler (both of “Trainspotting”). “That Old One!” launches CCC’s International Selection of the Month.
