The two ex-Chicagoans were sitting in a doctor’s office in Newport Beach, Calif., going over full-body scans as part of a broad health checkup.
The wife, Mary, was the first to be analyzed. When the doctor got to the lungs and saw how clear they were, he asked Mary where she was from originally.
“Chicago,” she replied.
“Where in Chicago?” the doctor asked.
“The northwest suburbs,” she said.
“Which northwest suburb?” he asked. “I’m originally from the northwest suburbs.”
“Mt. Prospect,” she replied.
The doctor studied his patient’s face. “Did you attend Lincoln Junior High?”
Mary paused and eyed the doctor.

And then ensued a reunion of two former 7th graders from Lincoln Junior High School in Mt. Prospect.
Which was very nice but does raise this question: Does anyone want someone they knew in 7th grade critiquing their internal organs?
