The reality hits just keep coming, as the WB scored its highest-rated Thursday debut ever with the bow of “The Surreal Life,” in which several neo-celebrities are holed up in a mansion with cameras monitoring their activities.

The series was seen by 5.2 million viewers, impressive by WB standards considering “Surreal” aired at 8 p.m. against the top-rated CBS series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” which, with 25.4 million viewers, won the night, as usual.

The WB will repeat the premiere of “The Surreal Life” at 6 p.m. Sunday on WGN-Ch. 9.
