Police are searching for the killer of a man whose body was found on a dead-end street in Robbins Saturday night.
Pier Lenear, 20, of the 13300 block of South Woodlawn Avenue, was shot in his car by someone else in the car, said Robbins police detective Sgt. Terrance Franklin. When Lenear got out of the car in the 13300 block of Hamlin Avenue, he was shot again, police said.
Franklin said someone found Lenear’s body on a concrete stoop and reported that a man wearing a black hood or ski mask was seen running away.
In Chicago, a man was found dead slumped over the wheel of his car in the 3500 block of West Franklin Boulevard Sunday morning. He had been shot in the shoulder.
A spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the man as Willie Williams, 31, of the 3200 block of West Fulton Street, Chicago. No one is in custody and the shooting is under investigation, Police Officer Carlos Herrera said.
