Homeland defense and the war on terror are two of the issues U.S. Rep Philip Crane (R-Ill.) will address during a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. May 31 in Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Woods Rd.
While Congress is on its Memorial Day break, Crane wants to tackle constituent concerns on the role of the military and other defense issues.
U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), who is on the Armed Services Committee, and Rear Adm. Ann Rondeau, commander of the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, will also attend.
“Any questions people have about the defense budget or the current state of our military will be answered,” Crane’s spokesman Randy Skoglund said.
