Two Elgin teenagers face up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty Monday in DuPage County court to felony charges in connection with robberies at two pizza parlors.
John Southammavong, 19, and Paul Chanthalusy, 18, admitted robbing Nick’s Pizza in Carol Stream and Frank’s Pizza in Itasca last summer. The owner of Frank’s wrestled a handgun away from one of the masked men, resulting in injuries to the owner and Southammavong.

Both defendants pleaded guilty to aggravated battery with a firearm, unlawful restraint and armed robbery.
They face prison sentences ranging from 6 to 30 years.
