An Addison man died late Wednesday, hours after the car he was driving was struck by a cement truck.
Dominick Pasztaleniec, 42, of the 200 block of Mill Road was turning his vehicle eastbound onto Lake Street from southbound Illinois Highway 53 when a southbound cement truck struck his car. He died about 10 p.m. at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.
The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries, and the accident scene was closed for several hours to clean up spilled cement.
