Manager Don Baylor said Saturday he has settled on the Cubs’ pitching rotation for the resumption of the season.
Jon Lieber (18-6) will start Tuesday night in Cincinnati, followed by Kerry Wood (10-6) and Jason Bere (10-9).
The Cubs worked out Saturday at Wrigley Field after taking Friday off to observe the national day of remembrance.
Travel arrangements are still pending for the team, which flies charter planes and thus hasn’t been subject to the same checks as commercial passengers.
Baylor said he had discussed imminent changes with the players.
“It’s going to be completely different,” he said. “It’s going to be through security, which it should be.”
