To assist victims of the recent terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Somerset County, Penn., the McCormick Tribune Foundation is conducting a drive to raise disaster relief funds.
So far, thanks to the generosity of people like you, the Tribune Disaster Relief Fund has raised more than $18.5 million dollars, including the $2.5 million in matching funds that the McCormick Tribune Foundation pledged to this effort.

Donations continue to be accepted. Because the Foundation and its partners are absorbing the administrative costs of the campaign, one hundred percent of every donation will be granted to agencies that are responding to this tragedy. Tribune Disaster Relief Fund
A fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation
Grants are made from the Disaster Relief Fund in response to applications from organizations with 501 (c)(3) status providing services to and addressing the needs of victims of the terrorist acts in New York City and Washington, D.C. and their families.
Priority will be given to programs providing services directly to victims and their families. Secondary priority will be given to community-wide programs.
No funds will be granted directly to individuals.
The Disaster Relief Fund does not make grants that financially benefit Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries.
