The article “Teens trek to city for heroin, Cops cite increase in suburban buyers” (Page 1, Aug. 13), it only hammers home the point that African-Americans have known all too well: If you are white and buy drugs, the police will do virtually nothing.
And if intervention is performed, it will be in a hospital.
If you are black and are caught with drugs, whether you’re the buyer or seller, you are going to jail.
