If you’ve been having trouble finding the Audrey family organizer featured on the March 25 Refrigerator door, it could be because 3Com Corp. recently discontinued the product. The company said it will support Audrey through the end of its warranty period and honor all rebate programs.

Hope may exist for a rebirth of Audrey, however, as 3Com said that it intends to sell the product line. A study by Cahners In-Stat Group, released just days after 3Com’s announcement, showed that sales of devices similar to Audrey are expected to grow 40 percent per year until 2005.
