Any schmoe with arm muscles can swing from a trapeze in mid-air. It takes a real acrobat to pull off a handstand atop a stack of seven chairs, four brandy bottles and two tables. The Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats’ physical artistry includes just such a balancing act — plus dancing, tumbling, magic and comedy routines dating back to the Han Dynasty of 2,200 years ago. The troupe contorts at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts’ Centre East Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Tickets are $16, or $13 for kids. 847-673-6300.
