A lot has been said and written about the photographs in the groundbreaking “You Are Here: Chicago in the Year 2000” photo exhibit. But few know about the audio and video aspects of this project designed to capture ordinary life in our city. You can hear more about the process of collecting audio interviews with these fascinating photo subjects when CITY 2000 audio editor Andrea DeFotis gives a talk at 6 p.m. Friday at the Cultural Center. Or you can stop by the Cultural Center’s Chicago Room any time before March 4 to hear interview samples through the exhibit’s audio kiosk. The Center is at 78 E.
