“Go climb the Hancock Center!” sounds more like a kiss-off than a contest. But it’s actually a competition for charity, in which thousands of people scale 94 floors, or 1,000 feet, for the local American Lung Association. (Intimidated climbers can stop at 42, then take the elevator.) Entry fees are $30 (for all 94 floors) or $25 (for the 42-floor non-competition) — plus a minimum pledge of $20. “Hustle Up the Hancock” begins at 7 a.m. Sunday at the Hancock Center, of course: 875 N. Michigan Ave. 312-243-2000, ext. 200.
