When teens get together, they:
a) break stuff
b) listen to ‘N Sync until they drive you OUT OF YOUR MIND
c) dabble in sex and drugs
d) break stuff while having sex and doing drugs and listening to ‘N Sync
e) create original, thought-provoking works of art based on their diverse experiences.
In the spirit of e), “What U Got” shows six original pieces, including a Nicaraguan civil war journal and a tale of living with Tourette’s Syndrome, by the teen Albany Park Theater Project. “Pang!,” a teen-produced art-and-performance program, opens at 7 p.m. Friday at Free Street, 1419 W. Blackhawk St., with the hip-hop band Marvin Tate and D-Settlement.
