Chicago-area Beatles fans will be first to get the latest glimpse into John Lennon’s psyche when “In My Life: The Artwork of John Lennon” premiers downtown this weekend before going on the road. The show-a collection of some 100 pieces executed from 1968 until his death in 1980 and produced by Yoko Ono (see today’s Tempo for an interview with her) and Legacy Productions–will be on display at The Hotel Monaco Chicago, 225 N. Wabash Ave., Friday through Sunday. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. A suggested $2 donation will be taken at the door to benefit Gilda’s Club Chicago. 888-278-1969.
