Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Just once we’d like to watch Henry James’ “The Turn of the Screw” without the Victorian sexual repression. Peace and love, dude! The City Lit/Genesius Theater Company’s new production of the literary ghost story, however, will probably stick to the script. Previews of the show begin at 8 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at City Lit, Edgewater Presbyterian Church, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. Tickets are $15. Opening night is Sept. 26 ($50) and the show runs through Nov. 12 ($20 per night). 773-293-3682.
