Richard Haas is best-known to Chicagoans for his fool-the-eye architectural murals such as the dazzling but now deterioriating one on the outside of the building on the northeast corner of LaSalle Boulevard and Division Street. He is, however, also a printmaker, and Printworks Gallery, 311 W. Superior St., has mounted a nearly 30-year survey of his work in that area. It’s time to get reacquainted with an artist who has long been part of the Chicago landscape. The closing date for the show is July 8.
