As three small children struck by a hit-and-run driver recuperated at home, Addison police continued searching Tuesday for the motorist who hit the children Sunday afternoon.

Police said a mid-sized gray car hit the children–two girls, ages 3 and 5, and a 3-year-old boy–as they darted among parked cars on North Green Oaks Drive.

The boy was released Monday night from Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, hospital spokeswoman Heather Holquist said. The girls were released Sunday after treatment for minor injuries.
