Jose Garcia-Parra, 17, of the 1200 block of Kings Circle was arrested Sunday, soon after a woman called police to report her rape early that morning, West Chicago Police Sgt. Michael Uplegger said. The victim apparently did not know her alleged attacker, but she was able to describe him, Uplegger said. He declined to provide further information.

The woman was treated at a local hospital and released later Sunday, police said. Garcia-Parra’s bond was set Monday at $500,000.
