ABBOTT OFFICIAL NAMED TO BOARD IN DISTRICT 115

Lake Forest District 115 has named Bill Conrad to fill a vacancy on the school board.

Conrad, the worldwide marketing director for Abbott Laboratories, is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, S.C. He and his wife have two children and have lived in Lake Bluff for 10 years.

“By serving on the Board of Education, I will help my children, the children of my friends and the children of others in the community have a positive school experience, be proud of their school and be prepared for the next phase of their life,” Conrad said in a statement.

Conrad, who is filling the vacancy left by Ed Holstein’s resignation, will be sworn in as a member of the board at the June 19 meeting.
