The McHenry County Interagency Council is seeking agencies interested in being considered as the grant administrator for Child & Family Connections.

Child & Family Connections, based in Woodstock, is a non-profit agency that provides early-intervention evaluations and referrals for families with children up to age 3 who have developmental delays.

The current grant administrator, Community Action Agency for McHenry County, can no longer sponsor the agency.

“Our program has grown, and we are looking for a new partner and fiscal agent,” said Shawn Egan, parent liaison for Child & Family Connections.

The McHenry County Interagency Council, which comprises community members, parents and mental health officials, oversees Child & Family Connections to ensure that the agency is meeting the needs of the community.

Applications can be obtained by calling Egan at 815-334-9224. They must be completed and returned by April 17.
