Beginning Aug. 26, the Shroud of Turin will be on public display at the cathedral in the northern Italian city of Turin. The artifact, which some Christians believe to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ, will be on view through Oct. 22. Although the viewing is free, reservations are required.
