A national retailer of beds and mattress furnishings has its eye on a long-vacant lot at a shopping center near Rohlwing Road and Lake Street.
Addison village trustees this week gave an initial green light to plans for a 6,300-square-foot Mattress Giant near the entrance to Lake Addison Plaza. Assistant Village Manager John Berley said the more than 1-acre lot has been vacant for about 12 years. Oak Brook-based InSite Real Estate Development LLC is planning to develop the lot.
