First, put some paint into some water and, using a sheet of rice paper, “lift” the image off the water. Second, play the jazz bass. Third, dance around really fast to express desire, lust, fear and love. And presto! The result is “Tracking the Heart” (pictured below), a collaboration between choreographer Shirley Mordine, bassist Tatsu Aoki and visual artist Amy Lee Segami.
