In the time it takes for the Ramones to play “Blitzkrieg Bop,” each of 30 Chicago rock bands will jump on stage, plow through a song (or two) and jump off again. “30 Bands in 60 Minutes,” featuring the punk-country Blacks, singer-songwriter Diane Izzo, blueswoman Lynne Jordan, veteran rockers Bad Examples and a theater group known as the Neo-Futurists, begins at 7 p.m. Thursday at Metro, 3730 N. Clark St. $11 (tickets may be purchased at the Neo-Futurist box office, 5153 N. Ashland, at Metro or via Ticketmaster, 312-559-1212; call 773-275-5255 for information).
