A restaurant walk has been added to the annual holiday celebration, which kicks off at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 24 with a Christmas tree lighting at the Municipal Center and continues with events through December.
The walk will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11 in downtown restaurants. Other events will include a Santa house at Colonial River Plaza with visits Saturdays and Sundays and free holiday films on Saturday mornings at the historic downtown Arcada Theatre, from Nov. 27 through Dec. 19; a Christmas parade on Dec. 5; and a holiday homecoming weekend Dec. 11 and 12 with a children’s puppet theater, barbershop chorus and ice sculpting demonstrations.
