DO SI DO’S AND DON’TS

The first person to shout “swing your partner round and round” at the Metropolitan Chicago Association of Square Dancers Octoberfest gets it. This is a serious dance event, with separate halls for square dancing and country and western line-dancing, among other styles, and nobody is expected to squeal like a pig or shout “yee-hah!” Octoberfest begins at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 S. Rush St., Roselle. Admission: $6. 815-385-2853.
