Center Will Perdue told the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday he was going to sign a free-agent contract with the Bulls, according to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.

Perdue, a member of the Bulls’ championship teams from 1991-93, was a backup to David Robinson and Tim Duncan with the Spurs, last year’s NBA champions. Perdue, an 11-year veteran, was traded to San Antonio in 1995 for Dennis Rodman.
The Bulls signed their second-round draft choice, 6-foot-8-inch forward Michael Ruffin of Tulsa, on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed.
